Hello,
I am very concerned at the proposed increase of members elected to
the
Senedd. If the UK government can cope with MPs representing
69,473
voters, I struggle to see why Senedd Members seem to want to
reduce
their population representation from 38,502 voters to 24,064
voters.
The increase will create a salary increase in the region of 60%, I
do
not have details of the extra salary that Mr. Drakeford and the
other
members with responsibilities have. There is also the increase in
the
expenses budget.
The Senedd seem to be able to support their increase but are unable
to
support the nurses and councils who are struggling to meet
salary
budgets. The problem with most Public Organisations is that they
have
too many levels of management and that funds are not reaching the
levels
where it does some good,
Regards,
